In 1965, Harvey Gladstein resigned the vice-presidency of a New York City based property and casualty carrier to start his own firm, bringing to bear his sixteen years of experience as an adjuster, supervisor, department head, attorney and administrative officer, in claims as well as underwriting. Drawing upon his years of extensive service in a variety of national insurance carrier organization committees, Mr. Gladstein has continually expanded his role as a legal and claims consultant to carriers.
The members and associates of the firm have achieved an enviable courtroom record, complemented by their service to the bar. They actively participate in a variety of local and national legal organizations and have lectured at bar association and insurance industry seminars. The combination of our attorneys, support staff and state-of-the-art technology allows our firm to provide a timely and efficient legal solution to all our cllients’ needs in an ever changing legal environment.
Harvey Gladstein and firm members initially attracted a nucleus of smaller carrier clients who gravitated to the firm's unique mix of professional acumen and down-to-earth candor. Separated from New York City by more than mere geography, these companies required something in addition to pleadings and perfunctory comments in order to intelligently administer claims. They sought, and still receive, the firm's guidance at each crucial juncture of every litigated matter.
The ensuing years have witnessed a steady growth in the number and diversity of cases and clientele. Our client roster now includes multiple national and local casualty/property carriers and self-insured organizations and public authorities.
